5 axis Programmer

Salary: €38-45k

Hours of work: 8am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday

Location: Cork, Ireland

We at Syntech Recruitment are pleased to offer an opportunity for an experienced 5 axis programmer on GROB machines to join a highly regarded engineering business based in Cork, Ireland.

As a 5-axis programmer, you will be required to work on 5 axis GROB machines producing parts for the aerospace and medical device sectors.

The daily duties of a 5 axis GROB programmer:

• Setting and operating 5 axis GROB machines
• Programming using offline CAD/CAM software
• Proven out parts for the Aerospace and medical device sectors
• Following standard operating procedures
• Performing self -inspection using hand tools
• Following all H&S procedures as required

The Profile of a successful GROB 5 axis programmer:

• Experience running 5 axis GROB CNC machines
• Programming offline is essential (HyperMill, NX)
• Self-inspection skills using handheld tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Any experience on 5 axis Mill/Turn machines would be at a distinct advantage
