Procurement Manager

Syntech Recruitment is working with a long standing client that is looking to recruit for a Procurement Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, procurement, and contract management. This position requires you to work closely with the engineering team and manage contractors and will be very hands-on.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing supplier relationships
  • Negotiating contracts
  • Analysing market trends
  • Procurement processes
  • Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
  • Budget and inventory management
  • Write policies and set up procurement procedures

 About you

  • Degree in Business administration and Supply Chain Management
  • Supplier and evaluation skills
  • Contract management expertise
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work well within a team
  • Experience within construction would be an advantage
