Businees Development Executive

Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire

Salary £30-45k + Bonus

Syntech recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Executive for our client in the Automotive/Motorsport industry based near Maidenhead, Berkshire,
This is a fantastic and rare opportunity to join our very successful client on a permanent basis.

Role Responsibilities
* Be the first line contact for customer enquiries/leads from website, telephone & personal introductions.
* Cold approach prospective clients via Linkedin, email, phone and at trade shows
* Conduct customer telephone calls, face to face meetings and technical presentations as necessary.
* Proactively creating and progressing sales pipeline opportunities through to order receipt.
* Ability to understand customer needs and develop appropriate business offerings.
* Quotation and proposal writing.
* Coordinate public events, trade fairs & conferences where appropriate.

The ideal Candidate
* A degree or equivalent work experience is also essential; preferably in a mechanical discipline.
* Commercial knowledge and mindset.
* 2+ years business development/sales experience.
* Experience of utilising a CRM.
* UK Driver's licence and the ability/willingness to occasionally travel both domestically and internationally.

Desirable
* Strong working knowledge of the motorsport industry.
* Experience across electric and hybrid vehicles.
* Commercial Social Media experience.
