Syntech Recruitment are searching for a Buyer to join a highly regarded and innovative Robotics and Automation specialist business in Farnborough, Hampshire.

The responsibilities of an Engineering Buyer:

• Purchasing a range of complex components
• Negotiating with suppliers
• Inventory management
• Building strong supplier relationships
• Using the ERP system
• Following the Bill of Material structure (BOMs)
• Seeking new suppliers

The profile of a successful Engineering Buyer:

• Prior experience working within the engineering, manufacturing (robotics or automation ideally) industry
• Has a strong knowledge of engineering processes relating to castings and machined parts
• Strong procurement background
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Very well developed interpersonal and organisational skills
