CNC Grinder

• £15-18 ph including shift
• Twilight shift (3pm - 11pm & 1pm - 7pm on Friday) starting on days.
• Immediate start available

We have an immediate permanent position for an experienced Universal Grinder. This role is for one of the country's leading Manufacturing Company based near Slough, Berkshire.

This role is for a skilled Universal grinder who has worked on either: a Jones and shipman and/or Studer Grinding Machines.
You will be required to work to tight tolerances and have a good understanding on how to read drafts-man drawings. You will be setting up multiple jobs throughout the day so you must understand metric and imperial measurements.
You will be working to precision drawings and constantly setting and operating different jobs according to what is on the drawing spec.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of various measuring equipment including but not limited to……
· Micrometres
· Vernier
· Plug gauges
· Shadowgraph
