CNC Machinist

• £35-40k (Inc shift)
• Afternoon shift (4pm - midnight)

Syntech Recruitment have partnered with a well-established engineering business based close to Aldershot and we are searching for a talented, dedicated, professional CNC Machinist (Set, operate & edit) to run both Mills & Lathe's. The successful applicant will ideally have the ability to set and operate 2 axis Lathe's and 3 axis Mills, have working knowledge of Fanuc and Heidenhain.

You will be machining high precision parts ranging from small 5 offs to larger 100's off and you could have multiple tool changes throughout your shift.

Job role:

• To set and operate CNC Mills & Lathe's to manufacture components to technical specifications and quality standards.

• To accurately interpret engineering drawings and have working knowledge of cutting tools and technology.

• To undertake self-inspection (and where authorised apply an inspectors stamp) and quality check of work undertaken in accordance with laid down quality standards and procedures.

Essential experience:

• Conversant with CNC Mills & Lathe's

• Ability to confidently set and operate CNC Mills & Lathe's

• Self-inspection skills
