CNC Miller

• Evening Shift: 4pm to 12:30am Monday to Thursday & 3pm to 10:30pm Friday
• 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays
• Pension Scheme
• £17.00 - £19.50 per hour (inclusive of shift premium)
• Monthly production bonus

Syntech Recruitment are actively seeking a CNC Miller capable of setting and operating CNC Milling machines on our evening shift pattern.

We also have opportunities on our day shift *8am - 5pm) so please do let us know if this would be your preference over the evening pattern.

Working on some high tech, modern cnc machines with integrated robotics. You will be responsible for the output on these machines which require experience with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controllers.

The responsibilities of a CNC Miller

• Setting and running a variety of both horizontal and vertical CNC Milling machines using Heidenhain and Fanuc controls
• Reading from engineering drawings
• Engaging in a range of training opportunities
• Performing self-inspection of all work using measuring equipment (Micrometers, verniers, CMM etc)

The profile of a successful CNC Miller

• Capable of setting cnc mills with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
• Capable of reading engineering drawings
• At least 3 years of experience working inside a machine shop environment
• Ability to work from self-inspection tools
• Understanding of H&S standards and requirements
