CNC Sliding Head Setter

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Sliding head setter/operator for our precision manufacturing client based near Twickenham, West London. You will be machining parts for high end clients, mainly in the aerospace field. The Ideal candidate will have experience working on Citizen Sliding Head lathes, ideally with Mitsubishi controls. Programming experience would be an advantage.

The Job Role
Working closely with the management team, your role will involve setting and operating the Citizen lathes and programming/program editing may be required at times. You will be machining high end parts for aerospace, working to close tolerances and making small batch work.
Your Experience

• Experienced CNC Sliding Head Machinist
• Citizen Machine experience is ideal
• Mitsubishi control experience would be beneficial but not essential
• Self-inspection
• GD&T Knowledge preferable
