CNC Swiss Lathe operator's
$20-27 per hour Depending on experience and skill level
Overtime Available
Long Island, New York
Relocation assistance available
shift patterns available 6am - 4pm / 3:30pm - 2am
Day shift also available 8:30am - 5pm
Syntech Recruitment are currently recruiting for multiple CNC Machinist's for our client who are based out of Long Island, New york. The successful applicants will be producing parts for many industries including medical device. We require skilled setter/operators as well as programmers. The machines you will be working on are Tornos sliding head machines running Fanuc controls, any candidates with sliding head experience get in touch!
CNC Sliding Head Responsibilities:
- Setting, operating Tornos sliding head machines
- Programming with Fanuc controls
- Self inspection using hand tools
- Ensuring all H&S is being followed
CNC Miller duties:
- Setting, operating and programming CNC Mills
- Carrying out self inspection of machined parts
Technical Skills, Qualification and Experience
- Running Sliding head / swiss lathe machines
- Running CNC multi axis Mills
- Proven self inspection skills
- Previous medical device experience ideal but not essential

As part of this, they will need to confirm your identity, employment history and address history to cover the past five years as well as your nationality, immigration status and criminal record. For positions that require Security Clearance, the successful candidate must hold or be willing to obtain security clearance up to the relevant level for the role.
