Compliance Engineer
Salary: Circa £40k per annum

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire

Syntech Recruitment are searching for a Compliance Engineer to join a highly regarded and innovative Robotics and Automation specialist manufacturing business in Farnborough, Hampshire.

Your daily duties as a Compliance Engineer will include:

• Conduct external Risk Assessment, Design Reviews, Factory/Site Acceptance testing and launch support
• Prepare technical files for CE certification
• Provide Safety & Compliance input during the product scoping to identify any concerns for operators interacting with the equipment
• Evaluate and review schematics and drawings and provide Safety & Compliance input during product development/early design
• Work with the Engineering team to understand safety issues and solution options
• Work with external testing houses to ensure certifications are achieved and maintained
• Work with the Process Development team to Improve Quality Processes
• Work with the H&S team and Support Internal & External Risk Assessments
• System and Product Manual Development

The successful Compliance Engineer will have the following attributes, skills, knowledge or experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety or a related science-based field.
• 5+ years' experience applying safety principles and addressing safety issues in a manufacturing, warehouse or other operations focused environment
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues
• Understanding of product safety concepts and techniques
• Experience working on bespoke machines or robotics systems
