EDM Machinist

Salary: €35-42k DOE
Hours of work: 48am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday
Job Type: Permanent

We at Syntech Recruitment are pleased to offer an opportunity for an EDM Machinist to join a highly regarded engineering business based in Cork, Ireland.
As an EDM Machinist, you will be required to work on EDM wire & sink, precision surface grinding & fitting

The daily duties of an EDM Machinist include:

• Setting and operating machines
• Programming using offline CAD/CAM skills
• Following standard operating procedures
• Performing self -inspection using hand tools
• Following all H&S procedures as required

The Profile of a successful EDM Machinist:

• Experience with EDM Machines, setting and operating
• Programming offline desirable (HyperMill)
• Self-inspection skills using handheld tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with CNC / Manual workshop machinery would be beneficial
