Are you an experienced Electrical Panel Builder looking for a new opportunity? Join our clients team in Cookstown and Ballykelly to work on stimulating and varied projects with some of the world’s biggest brands. Working Hours:

  • Normal Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Days: Monday to Friday
  • Times: 7:00 am – 4:30 pm (Mon-Thurs) & 8:00 am – 12 Noon (Fri)
  • Flexibility: Alternative or additional hours may be required depending on job demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Panel Assembly: Build and assemble electrical control panels/switchgear products accurately and efficiently, adhering to target costs and safety standards.
  • Design Interpretation: Understand and follow wiring diagrams to determine the panel design scope and requirements.
  • Schematics & Materials: Interpret electrical schematics and bills of material accurately.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve installation issues promptly.
  • Testing & Inspection: Inspect and test final products, provided you have received the appropriate training.
  • Quality Maintenance: Uphold a quality service by implementing and maintaining company standards.
  • Policy Adherence: Act according to the company’s policies and procedures, as outlined in the Employee Handbook (e.g., Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, Disciplinary, etc.).
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties related to the role and business as necessary and within your capability.

What We’re Looking For:

Criteria:

  • Experience: Previous involvement in building panels/switchgear/motor control panels.
  • Design Interpretation: Ability to comprehend panel designs through wiring diagrams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in understanding electrical schematics and bills of material.
  • Component Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical controls and low-voltage (LV) power components.
  • Assembly Techniques: Knowledge of panel assembly and fabrication techniques.
  • Mechanical Skills: Experience in manufacturing/mechanical assembly and expertise in using hand tools and mechanical equipment.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Deadline Orientation: Capacity to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Health & Safety Awareness: Understanding and willingness to implement Health & Safety protocols.
  • Adaptability: Readiness to perform additional duties related to the role, as required.
  • Qualifications: Electrical qualification is desirable but not essential.
