Syntech Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a talented Quantity Surveyor with experience in the construction industry to join a thriving bespoke supply and install business working in the commercial construction market. The successful Quantity Surveyor will work with senior management to oversee the estimates and take responsibility for the commercial projects once they've been won.
The role of the Quantity Surveyor:
Managing large tenders that have complex technical requirements
Optimising tenders further and supporting the estimators with technical knowledge on high end projects
Take responsibility on large projects to ensure purchasing, labour and production remain in line with the budgeted estimate
Quantity Surveyor experience:
You must be solution focused, articulate and hard working with extremely good organisational skills
Confident in reading architectural drawings, CAD, build-ups and specifications
A background in estimating within the construction industry
Must have a QS qualification or developed strong professional QS skills on-the-job
Demonstrable experience within the construction sector
At least 12 months of real world QS experience
