Export Sales Manager

Location: Co. Tyrone

Syntech Recruitment are partnering with our client to find an experienced Export Sales Manager to drive international sales growth and strengthen the company’s global presence. This role requires a high-performing individual with a strong track record in securing business overseas. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing export sales strategies, building dealer networks, and expanding market share.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in designated export markets and 
• Build and manage a dealer network as the primary route to market.
• Support dealer partners in winning new business and agree on sales targets.
• Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders to drive sales growth.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
• Lead high-value negotiations and manage contracts to secure beneficial agreements.
• Represent the company at global trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to generate leads and enhance brand recognition.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, applications, and after-sales support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in export sales of capital equipment and in the environmental or heavy equipment industry.
• Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record in driving sales growth and managing international distribution networks.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of export regulations, trade compliance, and logistics.
• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel extensively to support international sales activities.
• Experience working with North American markets.
• Ability to work independently and strategically, managing multiple priorities.
• Experience preparing sales proposals and contracts.
