Gear Cutter

• 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (days) & 7pm - 6am (nights)

World class Tier 1 supplier in to the motorsport and Automotive world are looking for skilled Gear Grinders to set, programme, edit, operate and run gear cutting machines. These Gear shaping / hobbing machines are all run off of Siemens controls.

Core duties:

You will be responsible for the setup of the machine for first off including deburring and operate the machine whilst observing completion of control plans if applicable.

The role involves the cleaning and deburring of components to the required standard as well as completing all necessary job cards and paperwork, repacking the part in appropriate packaging before booking off on the system and relocating the part to its next operation.

Experience:

• Gear hobbing
• Gear shaping
• Siemens controls
• Microsoft office packages (word, excel, outlook etc)
