Hours: 2pm - 12:15am Monday to Thursday
Holidays: 25 days plus public holidays

Manual Grinder for busy Sub-contract machine shop in Birmingham

Grinder tasks:

• Manual grinding using Jones & Shipman & Myford grinders
• Manual Cylindrical, Universal and Surface grinding to tight tolerances
• Perform your own first off inspection
• Reading from engineering drawings
• Cooperating with other engineers and management
• Grinding small batchwork for Aerospace components

Your Profile:

• You will be an experienced Grinder
• Several years manual grinding experience
• Proven experience grinding on Jones & Shipman and Myford grinders
• High confidence individual
• Proven experience grinding to tight tolerances (+/- microns)
• Aerospace experience essential

The Company:

• Well established subcontract machine shop in the Aerospace industry
