Account Manager - Aerospace Manufacturing

Syntech Recruitment are searching for an experienced Key Account Manager for our growing Aerospace SME client based out of Cork. The successful Key Account Manager will be tasked with shipping parts, organise couriers, packaging and liaise with manufacturing business abroad.

Key Account Manager Responsibilities:


Duties would involve

Main Contact with our Aerospace Customers Daily

Process Orders on the System Daily

Prepare Job Travellers with the relevant additional paperwork

Managing the flow of parts through the production facility

Processing completed parts for treatments

Working with the Finance team on the processing of parts through to the final stage for invoicing

Shortage reports are completed daily. Discussing any urgent parts with the Production Manager/Customer

Weekly Capacity Reports. (All this is managed through our ERP System)

Open Orders Report is done weekly for each customer. (All this is managed through our ERP System)

Other sales duties such as preparing quotes/loading sales orders daily

Certain amount of admin work will be required daily however for the best part , the role will be to serve ERP & perform a KAM role (full training provided on company systems)


Key Account Manager Background

  • Proven experience working inside a Manufacturing / Engineering company
  • Have a basic understanding of engineering drawings would be ideal
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Excellent phone manner
