Our client has more than 30 years in business and has forged relationships with some of the best training providers, business education specialists, events venues and organisations in the industry, allowing them to offer their customers an unparalleled training experience.

They own and operate two outdoor centres purpose-built for leadership and team development. These outdoor spaces are designed to take people away from their day-to-day comfort zone and create practical opportunities to bring theory to life and test new skills before applying them in the workplace.

 

Job Description

Due to expansion, they are seeking an experienced leadership development training facilitator to design and deliver tailored development solutions for their clients.

You will be responsible for designing and delivering leadership and team development modules for a range of organisations across a variety of sectors as well as through a range of modalities. You will be a facilitator working with decision-makers and senior leaders, therefore it is essential that you are able to build trusting relationships with customers and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You’ll be a confident and credible facilitator who creates a lasting impression on delegates. We’re seeking someone who is passionate about providing ‘lightbulb moments’ and capable of delivering constructive feedback to delegates to create sustainable behaviour change.

It’s desirable for candidates to have accreditation’s in profiling tools (e.g. Belbin, Insights, MBTi) and recognised leadership development programmes. Previous experience in a commercial role is preferable, but not essential. An interest in the outdoors and its ability to create experiential learning opportunities is also desirable.

This role has flexible working conditions. There will be a blend of home-working combined with regular travel to our two outdoor centres. The role will include travel to customer sites across the UK and potentially international travel.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Successfully facilitate leadership and team development training both face-to-face and virtually
  • Design bespoke training modules in line with customer needs
  • Discuss customer requirements with key stakeholders and provide a consultative and supportive approach
  • Operate as a support tutor as required by specific customer needs
  • Work collaboratively with our sales and marketing approach by delivering webinars, attending customer meetings and supporting on content development
  • Actively seek new business opportunities and partnerships for the organisation
