Location: 20 minute drive from Oxford, Public Transport unavailable
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am – 4:45pm, Friday 8am – 12pm
Start: As soon as possible (notice periods considered)

Mechanical Inspector Responsibilities

In this crucial role, you’ll:

• Conduct precise inspections on life-saving cartridges and equipment.
• Perform detailed checks on precision-engineered components using handheld tools (e.g. verniers, callipers).
• Interpret technical engineering drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure components meet stringent Aerospace and Defence standards.
• Collaborate within a busy quality inspection team.

What Makes You a Great Fit

We’re looking for someone with:

• Proven experience reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings.
• Hands-on experience with inspection tools like verniers and callipers.
• Knowledge of GD&T (preferred but not essential).
• Background in precision manufacturing environments (Aerospace, Automotive, etc.).
