Ops Manager

Syntech Recruitment are currently on the look out for an experienced and driven Ops Manager to join our expanding client based in Chertsey. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and time management skills, thrive in fast pace environments and enjoy meeting the challenges that a growing start-up offers. They will be able to delegate and communicate effectively with other members of the team to allow for smooth running daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth running of all day to day operations
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Run regular reports for daily dispatches, customer issues and unpaid invoices
• Oversee and delegate to office team to ensure operational best practices
• Find ways to increase quality of customer service
• Ensure best practice amongst wider team for daily processes
• Address office team performance and create corrective action plans

Qualifications

• 5 years experience minimum
• Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role within an engineering or manufacturing business would be ideal
• Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
