8am to 5.30 am Mon to Friday
Our valued client manufactures and installs marble, they tender for large and small projects from simple bathroom vanity tops to large-scale multi plot contracts in new build houses and apartments. With more than 30 years experience in the industry, their team work closely with architects and interior designers, as well as individuals who are looking for product advice and ideas.
Health and Safety for the Production Manager;
Manage Health & Safety
Ensure staff are aware of risks assessments
Ensure staff are trained accordingly.
Ensure Toolbox talks and fire drills are carried out regularly
Liaise with customers regarding their orders and deposits
Check with credit control before putting jobs into production and monitor credit limits
Uphold the production flow system, folders and daily meetings
Factory duties for the Production Manager;
Prepare Factory Schedule and Work Distribution
Monitor work processes and flow
Ensure Factory Procedures are followed
Measure Factory Staff Capability
Understand Machine Processes
Maintain Machine Maintenance logs
Uphold Factory Policies
Ensure Quality Check is carried out on every job and at every stage
Ensure Material is inspected for quality on arrival
Keep Forklift Truck Maintenance Logs
Ensure only authorised licence holders drive forklift trucks
Keeping factory & yard tidy
Managing the Installation Teams;
Plan Installation Schedule
Geographically group locations and maximise jobs - A,B,C
Ensure targets are being met.
Ensure fitters understand policies and processed
Ensure fitters always have correct paperwork in their trays for their next jobs.
Ensure fitters are following template guidelines
Ensure fitters are following installation guidelines
Maintain Van Tools & Accessories list
Manage Vehicle Maintenance Logs and Records
Office Duties of the Production Manager;
Monitor Staff Timekeeping
Ensure daily Timesheets are collect
Approve Overtime
Ensure all completed jobs are sent to Billing
Ensure Samples are sent out to Clients
Stock Controlling duties;
Manage Tools & Sundry lists
Ensure Sage records are updated
Issue Sundries and Stock
