Production Operative

Location: Chertsey

£12PH plus holiday pay

Role: Temp 1-2 months may extend longer

We are recruiting for our Client in the Chertsey area for a Production Operative operative. This initially will be on a temp basis for 1-2 months but may extend .

Main Responsibilities of the Production Operative:

? Ability to follow assembly drawings and procedures to complete manufacturing assemblies to the correct quality.
? Good attention to detail, with a desire to maintain and improve quality.
? Uses manual screwdrivers / tools to assemble parts.
? Ability to follow assembly drawings and procedures.
? Building of cable & harness assemblies, box builds or enclosures as sub-assemblies.
? Flexible work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
? Satisfactory level of housekeeping standards.

Desired Experience:

? Prior experience assembling mechanical components, subassemblies and units would be an advantage.
? Must be able to read schematics and interpret drawings or other informational materials.
? Must be able to follow procedures and meet production, quality, and safety standards.
? Knowledge of, and familiarity with, basic hand tools (manual and motorised).
? Willingness to perform any other duties within the capability of the individual.
