We currently have a terrific opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer/Manager to join a dynamic Life Sciences Manufacturing business with a global reach based near Portsmouth.
Purpose of the role:
This person will be responsible for managing Single Use Hardware projects and provide engineering support for bespoke/NPI projects in the biotech sector.
Responsibilities:

• Manage projects containing standard and bespoke single use hardware products
• Manage design, supply chain and production to deliver the services to a project
• To plan, manage and deliver projects to agreed constraints
• Promote and coordinate project internally within Design, Procurement, Kitting, Build, Documentation and Installation teams
• Manage customer's technical and scheduling issues in the form of Technical Data sheets/GA and component drawings
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of projects to external and internal customers, including budgetary, technical and scheduling indications at regular review meetings
• Ensure major project electronic documentation is up to date, including output to other manufacturing databases is carried out correctly
• Implement and support continuous improvement, establishing and including lessons learnt post-delivery of project
• Support New Product Introduction projects, being a key stakeholder within the project team
• Manage project technical repositories
• Responsible for managing the transfer of products into production, both from R&D and other facilities

Experience & Key Skills:

• Project Management of high value projects
• Management of departments/personnel involved in projects
• Experience of working in new product introduction or similar Life Science / Single Use Technology environments
• Engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, automation or control engineering)
• Competent in MS Word, Excel and Project
• Practical, resourceful, capable of working alone or in a team
• Prepared to travel

Education:
· Degree/HND/HNC in process engineering, electrical, automation or control engineering
