Purchasing Account Manager (Facilities) Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: A 10-minute drive from Uxbridge
Hours: Monday – Friday (Early lunchtime finish Friday)
Working From Home: 4 days in office, 1 day from home

Sourcing Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for suppliers, ensuring goods and services are delivered in line with business needs and contractual terms.
  • Manage purchase requisitions and contracts, including creating scopes, due diligence, and supplier agreements.
  • Monitor and improve performance against KPIs (Quality, Cost, Delivery), implementing risk mitigations as needed.
  • Develop and roll out commodity strategies in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Conduct RFx exercises and evaluate new suppliers and technologies to maintain a robust supplier portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with sourcing policies, governance processes, and export control regulations.

Ideal Candidate: We’re looking for a proactive and skilled professional with:

  • Extensive experience managing categories across a facilities portfolio. Ideally with experience from either Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Healthcare, Engineering, Manufacturing or Construction. 
  • Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise in negotiation, contract management, and data analysis.
  • A degree in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in sourcing tools (e.g., SAP, Medius) is a plus.
