Syntech Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experience Quality Inspector to work for a specialist manufacturing business in Bordon.

Working with a team of experienced and dedicated professionals you will be tasked with ensuring that the company's quality policies and procedures support the design, manufacture and delivery of product in line with our customers' expectations and managing the effective running of the company's quality systems.

Your responsibilities as a quality inspector will include:

Overseeing the following tasks-

• Patrol inpection on the production line (Visual and dimensional)
• Using a variety of handheld and non-contact measurement/inspection equipment
• Assosting with internal quality audits, ensuring that they are done thoroughly and to the published schedule.
• Working to ISO9001:2015 quality standards and assisting with audits
• Writing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
• Writing Non Conformance reports (NCRs)
• Manage customer and supplier returns, progress both through to a satisfactory conclusion. Ensuring that effective and robust corrective and preventative actions are put in place.
• Manage the internal scrap system, monitor and report on reject levels both internally and externally
• Assist with the equipment calibration procedure

The ideal profile for a successful Quality Inspector

• Experience with a variety of measurment / inspection equipment
• Knowledgable of patrol, first off, sample inspection processes
• Experience completing FAIRS and NCRs
• ISO9001:2015 Experience
• Previously worked with an external calibration supplier
• A background in inspection from a plastics/rubber manufacturing environment. Although we are happy to review applications from different inspection backgrounds including electronics or mechanical engineer
