Senior Systems Engineer

Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer, the successful Senior Systems Engineer can choose to work out of our clients facility based in either Northolt or Aylesbury. In this role you will be responsible for Leading the systems activities on a project applying sound engineering judgement to ensure projects are delivered to cost, schedule, and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities:
* Develop technical solutions to large and complex engineering problems, following Systems Engineering processes, to ensure customer requirements are satisfied.
* Develop Systems Engineering artefacts, as required, across the product development lifecycle, to result in a positive project outcome.
* Plan, co-ordinate and present at internal and external design reviews, to senior management and customers, to ensure a successful event.
* Actively contribute to and/or lead defined aspects of the project to achieve optimal balance between requirements, schedule and cost.

* The ability to work with customers to develop great technical solutions to their complex engineering problems, following Systems Engineering processes.
* Capable of developing high quality Systems Engineering artefacts, as required, across the product development lifecycle.
* Knowledge and interest and/or experience of developing software or FPGA/ASIC-based real-time embedded processing systems.
* Excellent general written and verbal communications skills.
* Willing to undergo, and can achieve and maintain, SC and/or DV security clearance.

* Experience in working with multiple engineering disciplines including software, FPGA, electronic/mechanical hardware.
* Knowledge and interest and/or experience of IP networking and associated protocols such as ARP, DHCP, SNMP, TCP, UDP etc.
* Knowledge and interest and/or experience of cryptography, cybersecurity and information security.
* Experience of any of DOORS, UML, SEBoK, Enterprise Architect and SysML.
