Shot Peening Technician

Salary: Up to £11p/h - £12p/h
Hours of work: 40 per week (8am - 5pm Mon to Fri)
Job Type: Temp to Perm (3 months minimum)
Location: Newbury, West Berkshire

We at Syntech Recruitment are pleased to offer an opportunity for a shot peening techncian to join a highly regarded engineering business based in Newbury, West Berkshire.
As a shot peening technician, you will be responsible for the shot peening process working with high quality machined components.

The daily duties of a Shot Peening Technician include:

• Preparing and jigging up parts
• Using shot peening machines
• Following standard operating procedures
• Performing quality checking procedures such as hardness checks
• Performing the shot peening process
• Recording and tracking your work in the company software

The Profile of a successful Shot Peening Technician:

• Experienced with shot peening techniques
• A desire to learn
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with workshop machinery
