Stores Team Leader
£16 - £18 per hour (Overtime also available and paid at a premium)
Location: Berkshire

An immediate opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join a busy Warehouse/Stores department in a major manufacturing facility.
Tasks of a Stores Team Leader:

• Maintaining health and safety standards and documentation (PPE, COSHH, Risk Assessments, 5S)
• Replenish and manage consumables (boxes, packaging, paper etc)
• Ensure goods are dispatched in accordance to a prescribed sequence
• Manage daily performance issues, coaching staff to improve individual performance
• Take responsibility for your teams work hours, overtime and holiday
• Conducting "Performance Development Reviews" for team members
• Implement continuous improvement techniques appropriate for your department
• Getting involved with daily tasks as a hands-on member of the stores team

The profile of a successful Stores Team Leader:

• Previous experience working in a stores/warehouse environment in a busy manufacturing business
• Strong man management and leadership skills
• Demonstrable experience with optimising your team's performance and development
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and documentation
• Previous experience accurately using an ERP / MRP system such as Epicor
• Previous experience working in an Aerospace, Motorsport or Automotive engineering environment
• You must be an effective communicator with your team and those in other departments
• You must take responsibility for your department with integrity and self-confidence
