A World class manufacturer and supplier to the Motorsport and Automotive world are hiring for an experienced Technical Sales and Customer Service Manager to manage a team of account managers to ensure successful delivery of key projects.

The Job Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Establishing, building and maintaining strong working relationships with new and existing customers
  • Managing customer order projects through delivery of quotation, progress support, order fulfilment and invoicing
  • Coordination of engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and commercial departments
  • Conducting annual personal development reviews and providing regular coaching and support to your team
  • Management of Cost and Margins against an established business case ensuring prompt delivery of Quotations, Orders and invoicing
  • Ensuring quality standards are meeting project specifications through quality plan management
  • Ensuring project activities adhere to the project timing plan to meet customer scheduled expectations
  • Build strong internal relationships with other departments; Operations, Design, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Accounts and Stores.
  • Manage the circulation of the customers technical documentation where appropriate
  • Identify new business growth opportunities and pursue generation of leads for quotation

About you

The ideal candidate will have the following experience / background:

  • A Minimum of 4 years in a technical support / customer service / technical sales role within a mechanical engineering environment
  • Previous experience in managing, organising and motivating a team
  • The ability and knowhow to prepare technical proposals and quotes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Have a full clean driving license and be flexible to some travel when required
  • Enthusiastic and capable of using own initiative when under pressure
