My client, a prestigious Engineering company based in Loudwater, High Wycombe are currently looking for a skilled Patternmaker / Technical Woodworker to join their growing team.

JOB PURPOSE:
Working with other Engineers, you will be tasked with manufacturing Jigs & Inspection fixtures for the automotive and aerospace industries.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Manufacturing Jigs & Inspection fixtures for automotive and aerospace industries
• Full knowledge of all workshop equipment
• Ability to resolve queries and problems to best of knowledge before escalating up to next level ensuring minimum occurrence of errors and provide workable solutions
• Responsible for adhering to Health and Safety rules and procedures
• Conducting assigned tasks in a controlled and safe manner, paying particular respect to colleagues and equipment

Essential Skills:

· Experience with woodworking machinery such as sanders & band-saws
· Previous experience in a similar role or experience working as a furniture/ cabinet maker would also be considered
· General engineering hand tools experience
· Willingness to learn
