Syntech are recruiting a Toolmaker for our medical precision engineering manufacturer based out of Tallaght, County Dublin. Working a day shift, you will be using manual grinding machines and completing mechanical assemblies to create tooling for medical machinery.

Toolmaker duties;

• Assemble mechanical toolings for machinery
• Following engineering drawings to complete assemblies
• Running manual grinding machines
• Following Health and Safety at all times
• Testing, troubleshoot and modify tooling as required

Toolmaker Profile

• 2+ years experience inside a fitter / toolmaker position
• Ideally apprenticeship trained or degree educated
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Manual grinding experience is ideal
• Excellent problem solving ability
• FETAC Level 6 Toolmaker / Fitter qualification is required
