The role of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant:

• Speaking to many potential candidates on daily basis with the aim of placing them in jobs

• Writing and placing job adverts on the company website, and other internet sites

• Searching and shortlisting candidates for our client’s jobs

• Sourcing client leads for the Business development team

• Managing advert responses and matching candidates to client requirements

• Telephone interviewing candidates

• Preparing candidate CVs and profiles for submission to clients

• Building the Client and Candidate electronic database

• Arranging interviews for candidates

You will need to:

• Be a confident communicator

• Be calm and work well under pressure

• Have good IT skills (Microsoft packages) and be good with numbers

• Be able to work in a demanding and very fast paced environment

Above all, you will need to be resilient, committed and hungry to make sales and earn commissions,
