Workshop Engineer

• Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
• £30-35k
• 29 days holiday (inc BH)
• Healthcare insurance scheme (commences after probation)

Syntech are looking for an experienced Workshop Engineer (experience with fabrication, pillar drills, bench saws, hand power tools and adhesives) to join a small, bespoke client of ours based near Coulsdon South London. The successful applicant will be joining the business at a very exciting time as they are looking to expand and a pathway into a senior engineer/team lead/supervisor is available. One of the tasks the successful workshop engineer will be tasked with will be to handle heavy components using appropriate lifting equipment and produce parts from sketches/drawings in the workshop.

Knowledge and skills:

Extensive knowledge around the workshop and producing finished products by utilising a variety of workshop tools including power tools, saws, drills, fabrication and adhesives. The successful applicant will need to have demonstrable experience with the following:

• Bench saw
• Pillar drill
• Hand power tools
• Adhesives
• Fabrication
