Syntech Recruitment is partnering with our client, a leading precision engineering company specialising in the medical device and aerospace sectors, to recruit a skilled Quality Technician. This role is critical in supporting the quality function by managing inspection processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precise measurement and inspection of components using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with industry and customer standards.
• Generate and maintain inspection reports, quality documentation, and records in line with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Support non-conformance investigations, providing detailed inspection findings and assisting in corrective actions.
• Assist in calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality concerns before they escalate.
• Support the implementation of quality control procedures and best practices within the organisation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quality Technician within a manufacturing environment, ideally in the medical device and aerospace sectors.
• Strong knowledge of measurement techniques and inspection processes, including CMM experience.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
