CNC Machine Operators

Salary: €13.50 – €15.50 per hour (DOE)
Location: Co. Longford, Ireland
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time

Syntech Recruitment are partnering with our client, a precision engineering company, to recruit CNC Machine Operators to join their manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role focused on operating CNC machinery to produce parts accurately and safely, with full training provided on machine specifics.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce machined parts as per work orders
• Follow instructions from the setter for machine operation and job specifics
• Load materials into machines using appropriate feed mechanisms
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric dimensions
• Use measuring equipment to verify part dimensions at regular intervals
• Complete production and quality logs and associated documentation
• Support maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and work area
• Communicate clearly with team members during shift handovers
• Participate in any required training and undertake packing duties

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Previous experience using standard measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Eligible to work in Ireland – applicants must not require a work permit
• Previous CNC experience in machine operation or manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
