Salary: Up to €60,000 Base
Location: County Dublin, Ireland
Hours: Monday to Friday (normal dayshift hours)
Start Date: ASAP

Syntech Recruitment are partnering with our client, a leading provider in the water services sector, to recruit a Project Engineer to join their Projects team. Based in Dublin, this role will involve managing and overseeing capital projects, such as plant upgrades, equipment replacements, and retrofit works, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to the required standards.

Project Engineer Duties:

  • Provide input for bids and manage relevant projects
  • Perform duties required for the Project Co-ordinator during the construction stage
  • Supervise and manage in-house and external contractors on-site
  • Respond to client requests for technical information
  • Produce documentation, including reports, drawings, calculations, specifications, tender documentation, project delivery plans, and health & safety plans
  • Develop project budgets and schedules
  • Work closely with the client, lead for the Construction Stage, lead for the Design Process, and other key stakeholders to ensure project requirements and safety regulations are met.

 Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (essential)
  • Fluent in English (essential)
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role or environment
  • Practical experience in coordinating site activities
  • Health & Safety experience in both site activities and design assessment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage site activities
  • Leadership qualities to foster collaboration among project teams
  • Strong knowledge of planning, monitoring, and project control techniques
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to provide solutions proactively
