Pipefitter

Salary: £31,000 + overtime + bonus
Location: Uxbridge, Middlesex
Hours: Mon–Thurs 08:00–17:00 / Fri 08:00–Midday (37 hours per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Permanent

This role is based in Denham, Uxbridge and is commutable from High Wycombe, Slough, Watford and surrounding areas. A car is essential to get to site. 

This is a great opportunity to join a highly respected manufacturer in Denham, working in a busy production department on high-specification assemblies.

The successful applicant will apply both TIG welding and high/low temperature brazing techniques on a variety of materials.

Aerospace Production Welder Responsibilities:

• TIG welding aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel components and sub-assemblies
• Performing high-temperature silver brazing and low-temperature brass work
• Inspecting your own work and conducting basic quality tests
• Working to BS EN:12797:2000 standards on parts such as stud plates, trombone tubes, and pipe fittings
• Completing assemblies using hand tools and working from engineering drawings and SOPs

Requirements:

• Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Experience with TIG welding techniques
• Skilled in high and low temperature brazing / silver soldering
• Certifications to BS EN:12797:2000 or AWSD17.1/D17.1M:2010-AMD1 (desirable but not essential)
