Sheet Metal Technician

Salary: £15-17 per hour + overtime @ £21-24 per hour
Location: Near Uxbridge, Middlesex. 10-minute drive from Uxbridge (40 minutes by public transport)
Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00 / Fri 08:00-Midday (37)
Start Date: ASAP
Bonus: Company performance bonus

This is a great opportunity for a Sheet Metal Technician to join a well-established manufacturing business near Uxbridge, working on high-precision components within a world-class environment.
As part of the manufacturing team, you will play a key role in producing Fibreglass and aluminium components, and take pride in producing high-quality assemblies

Sheet Metal Technician Responsibilities:

• Riveting fibreglass and aluminium components to create high-quality assemblies.
• Using nuts, bolts, and fasteners to complete robust constructions.
• Working from detailed engineering diagrams and build plans.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to deliver consistent excellence.
• Performing basic inspections to ensure each product meets exacting standards.

 
Sheet Metal Technician Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in riveting fibreglass and aluminium components—this is a must!
• Proficiency with hand tools and assembly techniques.
• A solid understanding of engineering diagrams and SOPs.
• Familiarity with bonding, gluing, or similar techniques (bonus points!).
