We’re supporting a leading manufacturer near Uxbridge in their search for an Assembly & Bonding Technician to join a specialist department focused on precision-built assemblies. This is a key role contributing to the success of highly engineered safety systems used in demanding environments.

Assembly & Bonding Technician Duties

  • Using kits of precision components to build bonded assemblies
  • Masking components for aluminium oxide blasting
  • Applying adhesives such as araldite and curing assemblies in ovens
  • Cleaning, finishing and preparing assemblies for inspection
  • Following detailed engineering drawings and build plans
  • Supporting inspection and testing using gauges and other equipment
  • Maintaining accurate records of work and reporting non-conformances
  • Supporting 5S and lean initiatives within the workshop

Assembly & Bonding Technician Duties

  • Experience in an assembly, fitting, or manufacturing role
  • Hands-on skills using tools and adhesives
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and basic measuring equipment
  • Experience with oven curing, bonding processes, masking or composite materials
  • Positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Basic computer skills and awareness of H&S and quality processes
