Salary: Up to £26,500 per annum
Location: Denham, near Uxbridge
Hours: Full-time, permanent. 37 hours a week with early Friday finish

Syntech Recruitment are working with a specialist engineering company who are looking for a Trainee Operator to join their team, working in the niche area of parachute packing.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly responsible role where accuracy, care and consistency are key. Candidates with experience operating machinery, using hand tools or those from a former military background could be an excellent fit.

Trainee Operator Responsibilities:

• Packing and preparing parachutes to strict safety and quality standards
• Using hand tools and equipment with precision and care
• Following detailed technical instructions and checklists
• Carrying out thorough quality checks at every stage
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Trainee Operator Profile:

• A full UK driving licence (essential)
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely
• Experience using hand tools in any setting (workshop, site, trade, or DIY)
• Previous experience operating machinery (advantageous)
• A background in the military or other disciplined, hands-on roles would be a great fit
• A proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious approach
