CNC Manual Machinist

Salary: £30k-£33k plus 15% shift premium
Location: Aylesbury
Hours: Monday–Thursday- Afternoon shift
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Permanent

Our market leading client is seeking a proactive CNC Machinist to work at their high end facility in Aylesbury. You will be responsible for setting and operating the CNC machines, as well

as performing manual machining tasks (Mills and or Lathes) to produce high- quality metal components to tight tolerances

 CNC Manual Machinist Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machine centre
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Select appropriate tooling, speeds and feeds for various materials
• Perform first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
• Adjust programs and offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy
• Operate manual lathes, milling machines and drills
• Deburr and finish machined parts to specification 

CNC Manual Machinist Requirements

• Proven experience in CNC machining
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Good understanding of geometric tolerancing and surface finishes
• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens or Edge CAM controls
• Experience in a low-volume, high precision manufacturing environment
