Location: Chalgrove, Oxfordshire
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00–17:00, Friday 8:00–12:00 (early finish)
Type: Permanent, full-time

We’re working with a leading aerospace manufacturer recognised worldwide for developing technology that saves lives. They’re now looking for a Production Controller to join their growing team in Chalgrove.

This role will see you supporting production operations within the pyrotechnic department, ensuring that data, documentation, and materials move efficiently through manufacturing and shipping. You’ll work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to maintain accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery.

Production Controller Responsibilities

  • Produce ammunition data cards and process contract data requirement lines (CDRLs).
  • Manage the customer orderbook and delivery reports, ensuring products remain on schedule.
  • Support shipping processes and handle documentation for customer review.
  • Review production paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaise with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Production Control department.

Production Controller Profile

  • Experience in data processing or process coordination within a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident using SAP or similar systems.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above).
  • Familiarity with US Government packing and shipping requirements is highly advantageous.
  • A proactive, dependable team player with the ability to work independently when required.
