We’re recruiting a Warehouse Cleaner to join a safety-critical engineering business based in Denham. This role sits within a busy machine shop environment and focuses on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and safety across the production area.

This is not heavy labouring — it’s structured industrial cleaning within a professional manufacturing facility.

Warehouse Cleaner Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and tidy machine shop environment

• Sweep and clean production floor areas

• Empty bins and remove general waste

• Remove swarf bins from machining cells and segregate recycling (metals, plastics etc.)

• Transfer swarf bins to main skips using pallet truck equipment

• Remove coolant and clean machine sumps using wet vacuum equipment

• Clean machine exteriors using approved cleaning materials

• Monitor skip capacity and notify supervision when replacements are required

• Maintain clean walkways and yard areas

• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations, COSHH and Safe Systems of Work

• Support 5S and ongoing Lean initiatives

What Makes a Good Fit

• Experience in industrial cleaning within a manufacturing or warehouse environment

• Understanding of recycling procedures (metals, plastics etc.)

• Strong Health & Safety awareness

• Comfortable working in a busy production environment

• Reliable, organised and proactive

• Basic IT skills

Desirable:

• Forklift or Robur Pallet Truck licence
