Syntech is proud to be working with an established technical services company in the Dublin area who are looking for a Trainee HVAC Engineer to join its team, working on cleanrooms and other controlled environments.

This is a permanent, full‑time role with structured training and long‑term progression in a specialist, growing field.

The Role

You will:

  • Support the testing, commissioning and de‑commissioning of HVAC systems in cleanrooms / controlled environments
  • Carry out routine measurements, checks and troubleshooting under supervision
  • Work to detailed procedures and quality standards
  • Prepare basic reports and documentation on work completed
  • Liaise with senior engineers and customers on‑site when required
  • Build your technical skills with a clear path to becoming a fully competent HVAC / cleanroom engineer

Full training will be provided; responsibility will increase as you gain experience.

Candidate Profile

Because of the technical nature of the work, a relevant qualification is required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (level 7 or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, HVAC, Energy, Process, or a closely related discipline

You should also have:

  • Genuine interest in HVAC, building services or cleanroom / controlled‑environment systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures
  • Good problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn
  • Clear communication skills and a professional approach on customer sites
  • Full driving licence (or working towards it) is an advantage

Location requirement: You must live within approximately one hour’s travel of Ballymount, Dublin 24.
