Syntech Recruitment are working with a world-renowned manufacturing business to recruit an experienced CADCAM Programmer with strong SolidCAM experience.

This role sits at the heart of the machine shop, responsible for creating, optimising, and proving CNC programs for high-precision components.

Relocation package available. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and optimise toolpaths using SolidCAM (essential)

• Program, simulate, and prove out CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis machines

• Support CNC operators with proven, production-ready programs

• Manufacture one-off and small batch components to tight, medical-grade tolerances

• Play a key role in the continued development and optimisation of SolidCAM processes

• Work closely with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to improve efficiency and output

• Maintain high standards of H&S and cleanroom compliance

Requirements (Must-Have Criteria)

• Proven experience using SolidCAM in a production environment (non-negotiable)

• Strong background in 5-axis CNC programming

• Ability to program and prove out components across 3, 4, and 5-axis machines

• Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, and cutting strategies

• Hands-on, detail-focused approach with a commitment to high-quality output

Desirable (Nice to Have)

• Experience in medical device manufacturing

• Exposure to high-precision / tight tolerance environments

• Experience improving or implementing CAM workflows
