Celtic Anglian Water operates water and wastewater facilities across Ireland, including the Ringsend wastewater treatment works — the plant that handles around 40% of all wastewater in the country. Alongside operations, they deliver design, build, install and maintenance solutions to industry across Ireland and the UK.

They’re looking for an experienced Pipe Fitter to join a versatile mechanical team of welders, fabricators and fitters. The role is based at Ringsend, with travel to other Irish sites forming part of the remit.

What you’ll be doing

• Working within the mechanical team on maintenance, repairs, and the delivery of new installations and capital replacement projects
• Reading drawings, templates and schematics to lay out and fit pipework accurately
• Completing all work to specification and to programme
• Recording maintenance activity on MAXIMO (the site CMMS)
• Keeping the engineering area to a good housekeeping standard
• Working safely and in line with site safety policies and relevant legislation
• Travelling to other sites within Ireland where required

What you’ll need

• QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft — Pipe Fitter
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial environment
• Strong technical capability and attention to detail reading drawings, templates and schematics
• Ability to work well in a team and independently with minimum supervision
• Good communication, teamwork and initiative
• Sound understanding of H&S statutory requirements, responsibilities and obligations
• Proficiency with information systems (email, Microsoft Office)
• Full driving licence

Desirable

• Knowledge of mechanical process plant and associated maintenance within the wastewater industry

Pipework fitted to recognised industrial standards (e.g. ASME B31.3).
