Syntech Recruitment are partnering with an engineering contractor to recruit Industrial Welders for a major fabrication and installation project based in Tarbert.

This role will support structural, plate and high-pressure pipework welding activities within a heavy industrial environment, working to ASME standards using MMA processes to meet project specifications.

Industrial Welder Responsibilities
· Carry out MMA welding on structural, plate and high-pressure pipework components
· Weld to ASME standards and approved welding procedures
· Work from fabrication drawings and welding procedures
· Prepare materials and joints prior to welding
· Complete welds to a high standard in line with specifications
· Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance
· Support fabrication and installation teams on-site
· Maintain safe and organised working areas
· Ensure all work is completed right-first-time

Industrial Welder Requirements
· Proven experience as a coded welder within industrial environments
· ASME coding essential
· Strong MMA welding experience
· High-pressure pipework welding experience essential
· Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
· Experience working on structural or heavy fabrication projects
· High attention to detail and quality standards
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Available for an immediate or short-notice start
