Accounts Assistant – Purchase Ledger

Hours: Monday – Friday 40 hours a week

Syntech Recruitment are delighted to partner with a fantastic consultancy client of ours who are on the lookout for a Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team. Working with the Financial Controller, this will be a varied position dealing with high volume vendor invoices and purchase invoices.

Accounts Assistant Duties

  • Process high volume of vendor invoices in various worldwide currencies
  • Proactive clearing invoice queries
  • Purchase returns process by agreeing and raising debit notes to suppliers
  • Processing employee expenses and credit card claim forms
  • Dealing with the purchase ledger inbox (Mail in / Mail out)
  • Assisting with Month end process by performing reconciliations

Accounts Assistant Profile

  • Experience dealing with invoices and purchase ledgers in a busy finance department
  • Experience of using ERP systems (ideally Infor LN)
  • Studying towards AAT qualifications
  • Strong attitude to learning
  • Strong Microsoft Office & Outlook skills
