Assembly & Test Technician

• £20k - £25k
• 37-hour week
• Early Friday finish
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
• Overtime at 1.5x

An opportunity has arisen for an Assembly & Test Technician for our Aerospace OEM client based near Stadhampton. Working within the proof & test department, you will be completing testing on pyrotechnic cartridges and completing test analysis using various tools and instruments.

Assembly & Test Technician Duties:

• Setting up equipment and tools prior to proof testing
• Mechanical assembly of test chambers and cartridges
• Manually cleaning & preparing test chambers between test shots
• Loading and removing assemblies after testing
• Compilating test reports
• Following all H&S conditions to complete testing

Assembly & Test Technician Profile:

• Good understanding of reading & working from engineering drawings
• Experience of working with various hand tools
• Previous background working in a Production environment is ideal
• Testing experience is beneficial but not essential
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work well in a team
