Assembly Technician
· £18 - £22k doe
· 9% non - contributory pension
· O/T available at time and a half
· 37 hr wk / Early Friday Finish

Assembly Technician required for a highly respected manufacturing business near Watlington, South Oxfordshire

Assembly Technician Duties:
· Work from Work Instructions / Engineering Drawings to create mechanical assemblies
· Update SAP regularly on work in progress
· Work with hand tools to produce fairly small assemblies
· Handle explosive materials, goods and components

Your Profile:

• Able to read technical drawings
• Manufacturing background would be ideal
• Basic Computer skills (SAP preferred)
• Use of basic hand tools
• Experience of mechanical assembly's ideal

Ideal candidates may come from the medical, aviation or automotive industry having gained experience in a manufacturing environment on mechanical or electrical assemblies. Following instructions is very important so experience with build plans, procedures and engineering drawings is desirable

For positions that require Security Clearance, the successful candidate must hold or be willing to obtain security clearance up to the relevant level for the role.
